REGISTRATION, INFORMATION, AND DETAILS
Registration opens on Monday, August 3, at 10:00 AM and closes Friday, August 7, at 3:00 PM.
Registration will occur using Active Network and via a button on your Parent Portal; the link and button will be coming in July.
The first trimester begins Monday, September 14, and runs through Friday, November 20.
All classes will be held in-person and times vary depending on the specific class. Most MS offerings and Study Hall begin at 3:30 PM and end at 4:45 PM. The first session for General Afterschool begins at 3:30 PM and end at 4:30 PM; the second session begins at 4:45 PM and end at 5:45 PM. Students will be brought into the cafeteria after school and in between sessions to ensure they get to their afterschool classes. Snack will be provided prior to each session. If you sign up for a second session class, you must sign up for a first session class.
INspeyerED Afterschool classes only meet when Speyer is in session for a full day. Accordingly, the number of times each class meets and price varies depending on which day of the week it meets, and on how many of those days Speyer is in full session.
A discount is available to families who receive tuition assistance. A discount code will be provided to such families in July.
Drop-In Option: If you need childcare for just one day, there is a drop in option for Study Hall. If this is needed, please email msegal@speyerlegacyschool.org to register your child.
Late Pick- Fee Up: If you are late for pick-up (after 3:30 PM), your child will be brought to Study Hall and you will be charged for the session. All children must be picked up between 5:45 PM and 6:00 PM; any pick ups after this time will result in an immediate $25.00 late fee that will be charged to your card on file. Should a second late pick-up occur, we reserve the right to withhold child care services indefinitely. Please ensure you have a reliable backup plan to guarantee your child is collected on time.
Outstanding Balance Policy: All account balances must be settled in full by the final day of the current trimester. In the event of an unpaid balance after this deadline, we reserve the right to automatically charge the credit card on file for the total amount due. To avoid unauthorized transactions, please ensure your payments are submitted through Active before the term concludes.
Cancellations: In the event of inclement weather, INspeyerED Afterschool classes may be canceled.
Refunds: Once you have registered for a class, your payment is fully refundable until August 7 at 3:00 PM. There will also be no refunds if your child is absent or if there is a substitute teacher. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Late Fee: There will be a late fee of $50 for any new registrations or changes made to existing registrations that occur after Friday August 7 at 3:00 PM.
Any registrations made after registration closes will be made solely at the discretion of administrators and instructors and will be prorated based on the number of sessions remaining.
Minimum/Maximum Enrollment: A minimum enrollment is required for a class to run. Should that number not be met, the class will not be offered and payment will be refunded. Space considerations and instructor discretion dictate the maximum for each class. There will be no exceptions to maximum enrollment or to the grades permitted in each class. Classes that are under enrolled will be closed on Wednesday afternoon during registration. Once this happens, families enrolled in those classes will be notified and provided with a list of what classes will be running on that given day of the week.
Waitlist: If a desired class is full you may add your child to the waitlist, from which students will be added if another student withdraws.
Code of Conduct: All rules and guidelines set forth in the Speyer Legacy School’s family handbook extend into INspeyerED Afterschool. All instructors are aware of and enforce school rules. Not following the rules of the class, repeated disruption, and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove a child from a class because of behavior issues and may exclude that child from the program in the future if improvement is not immediate or consistent. There will be no refund in such cases.
