Spotted on the Mini Boulevard: Kindergarten’s Breads and Spreads!

The Mini Boulevard was once again the home to one of Speyer's oldest traditions: Kindergarten's Breads and Spreads Event! And it was a huge success! Bringing in breads and spreads from all over the world, students and families celebrated the common thread that weaves throughout different cultures and communities: food!

The kindergarteners began the event by performing songs they have been working on in Music with Mr. Tim as well as a few Spanish songs they have learned with Sra. Cuesta. Families then enjoyed trying both new and familiar flavors as they sampled the amazing and plentiful potluck. Throughout the Mini Boulevard, Kindergarten Name and Family Tradition projects were displayed, and students had fun completing a bingo sheet scavenger hunt, sharing what they had learned about their KA and KB classmates with their siblings, grandparents, caregivers, anyone they consider family!

We love this annual event that celebrates family, culture, and community! High-fives to the Kindergarten teaching teams, Mr. Tim, Sra. Cuesta, and everyone who helped make the morning a success!
